Corn Bread Recipe

Corn bread is a popular native American food , made with corn flour / corn meal and a combination of other ingredients. There are different types , moistened , crunchy , sweet or plain.

I know you’re probably wondering if I am asking you to go all the way to America to get one , LOL , no I am not , on the contrary I want to show how you can bring this southern American dish all the way to your kitchen wherever you are in the world.

Corn Bread

Three crumbly delicious homemade squares of melt in your mouth cornbread sitting on top of a birch cutting board. These pieces are just begging for some sweet cream butter and clover honey to smother them. Here’s a cornbread recipe for you.

Ingredients :

.1/2 cup of Sofari Corn flour        . 1 cup of milk       . Sugar      .  1 cup all purpose flour          .1 tablespoon baking powder

.1/4 cup melted butter        .Refined oil as required      .1/4 table spoon salt

How To Make :

. Preheat the oven at 400F

Prepare your baking dish by spraying with refined oil

In a bowl , sieve Sofari corn flour , all purpose flour , add sugar , salt , baking powder , and mix together.

. Break eggs in a separate bowl , add milk and melted butter ,and whisk until combined.

. Then add the flour mix into the egg mix and stir until well moistened .

Transfer batter into your baking dish and place it in the oven to bake for about 25 minutes.

Wait for it to cool and voila! You have yourself a yummy homemade corn bread .

What to serve with your Corn Bread :
